PrimalScript 2007, as many of you know, is configured by default to capture PowerShell output. Output is sent to the Output panel. However, there may be situations where you prefer to launch your script from PrimalScript but have it execute in an actual PowerShell session.

TechEd 2008 Day 3
Day 3 –
Whew! That was intense! Its day three of Microsoft Tech-Ed and this morning was the big T-Shirt giveaway (part 2). While we had already handed out over 500 T-Shirts on Monday night, this morning was the last opportunity for attendees to get a t-shirt from us. So what, you ask? Well if an attendee is spotted wearing the SAPIEN Tech-Ed T-shirt at tonight’s attendee party at Universal Studios Theme park, they could win $1000 or any one of many fabulous prizes.
TechEd 2008 Day 2
Day 2…
I am actually writing this the morning of day 3, since yesterday left no time to sit down and write anything. It was a VERY busy day. The show floor was very busy. And although it was punctuated with occasional lulls, it was during those times that I was typically out of the booth speaking one-on-one with various people.

Do I need to learn the .NET Framework in order to use PowerShell?
In a word, no. I’m sure some of my fellow PowerShell MVP recipients and other enthusiasts will disagree. Certainly, you can use the Framework from within PowerShell, and that’s a great capability to have. Sitting here today, there are many things which are most easily achieved using the Framework – not "easy," mind you, just […]
Writing an LDAP Search Filter
http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DEV/How+to+write+a+LDAP+search+filter is a great article on writing LDAP search filters.
Don’t modify out-of-scope items
Scripts, functions, and other elements should NEVER modify the variables, aliases, PSDrives, or other items from parent scopes. Instead, return data to the parent scope using the pipeline. Changing parent scope items creates code which is much more difficult to debug and maintain, and can create inconsistent results when run on different systems.
