If you are running Windows Server 2008 I hope by now you’ve picked up a copy of Windows Server 2008: What’s New/What’s Changed by Greg Shields. While this is a terrific resource to get you started, you’ll likely want some more in-depth information. Greg has a short lesson on migrating from FRS to DFS-R you might interest you.

TechEd 2008 Day 3
Day 3 –
Whew! That was intense! Its day three of Microsoft Tech-Ed and this morning was the big T-Shirt giveaway (part 2). While we had already handed out over 500 T-Shirts on Monday night, this morning was the last opportunity for attendees to get a t-shirt from us. So what, you ask? Well if an attendee is spotted wearing the SAPIEN Tech-Ed T-shirt at tonight’s attendee party at Universal Studios Theme park, they could win $1000 or any one of many fabulous prizes.

Day 2…
I am actually writing this the morning of day 3, since yesterday left no time to sit down and write anything. It was a VERY busy day. The show floor was very busy. And although it was punctuated with occasional lulls, it was during those times that I was typically out of the booth speaking one-on-one with various people.
Notes from the field – TechEd 2008 IT Professionals – Day 1
Well it’s the first day of TechEd IT Professionals and you can feel the electricity in the air. This is a great show to be at. Lots of people, lots of sessions, lots of excitement.

WinConnections Orlando ’08 Demos
