SAPIEN Technologies announces a new service release for PrimalScript: Build 533 is a free upgrade to all PrimalScript 4.1 owners. In addition to a number of minor fixes (documented at www.sapien.com/support.asp; select “Change Logs”), several minor new features have been added.
Windows PowerShell users will find that their profiles now load when running PowerShell scripts within PrimalScript; this helps ensure that any custom aliases or snap-ins are loaded for the script to use. Also new is a “Clear” option to the Output tab, and a new Ping component in the bundled PrimalToys package.
Registered owners can visit www.primalscript.com/downloadtrial.asp to download the latest version. Select the “Repair/Update” option when installing to update your registered copy of PrimalScript to the new build. Re-activation is not necessary.
Note that this new build will not update v4.0 or prior versions; installing 4.1.533 will install a 45-day trial version if you’re not already a registered user.
