We included a few new features to this build, but we will focus on the search-related features in this particular article.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Find in Files Update<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We added some new options to the &#8220;Find In&#8221; pull down list of the Find in Files dialog.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image36.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Find in Files\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image_thumb34.png\" alt=\"Find in Files\" width=\"244\" height=\"100\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The new options include:<\/p>\n<p><em>Current Document<\/em> \u2013 Searches in the current document only.<br \/>\n<em>All Open Documents<\/em> \u2013Searches in all the open documents.<br \/>\n<em>Current Project<\/em> \u2013 Search in all the project files.<\/p>\n<p>These new options will allow you to narrow your search to the files you are currently working on. For example, you can conduct a search using a regular expression to find all the variables within the current file:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image38.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Regular Expression search in current document.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image_thumb35.png\" alt=\"Regular Expression search in current document.\" width=\"244\" height=\"100\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And the results are listed in the Find Results panel:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image39.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Find Results\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image_thumb36.png\" alt=\"Find Results\" width=\"244\" height=\"141\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As opposed to the normal Find feature, which selects the current search result only.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Find All References<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We added a new command to the editor&#8217;s context menu: <em>Find<\/em> <em>All References<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image41.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Editor's context menu.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image_thumb37.png\" alt=\"Editor's context menu.\" width=\"244\" height=\"222\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Find All References<\/em> builds upon our existing reference highlighting feature. In addition to highlighting all the references, it will list all the references in the Find Results panel:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image42.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Find all references.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image_thumb38.png\" alt=\"Find all references.\" width=\"244\" height=\"149\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This makes it easier for you to navigate between references. Whenever you double-click on a reference in the panel, the Find Results panel will mark the reference as visited:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image44.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Find Results marks visited references.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image_thumb39.png\" alt=\"Find Results marks visited references.\" width=\"244\" height=\"61\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you are working with a project, the references located in other project files will also be listed in the search results.
