{"id":9233,"date":"2015-05-18T07:00:05","date_gmt":"2015-05-18T14:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/?p=9233"},"modified":"2015-05-15T09:19:29","modified_gmt":"2015-05-15T16:19:29","slug":"powershell-studio-2015-updated-control-sets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.sapien.com\/blog\/2015\/05\/18\/powershell-studio-2015-updated-control-sets\/","title":{"rendered":"PowerShell Studio 2015 &ndash; Updated Control Sets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the v4.2.85 service release of PowerShell Studio 2015, we updated a few of the predefined control sets.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Updated Control Sets:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong>Button \u2013 Run Process<\/strong><\/em> now includes the Process Tracker framework, so you no longer have to include the <em><strong>Form \u2013 Process Tracker<\/strong><\/em> control set.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Button \u2013 Start Job<\/em><\/strong> now includes the Job Tracker framework, so you no longer have to include the <strong><em>Form \u2013 Job Tracker<\/em><\/strong> control set.<\/li>\n<li>All the <em><strong>Form<\/strong><\/em> control sets have been modified so that they will not produce redundant event blocks when inserted multiple times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Append Option<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <em><strong>Form<\/strong><\/em> controls sets assign events on the form itself and if that particular form event is already assigned, PowerShell Studio will present you with the following dialog:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Replace event dialog\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/SNAGHTMLee2521.png\" alt=\"Replace event dialog\" width=\"482\" height=\"160\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can select from the following options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Leave<\/em> \u2013 Leaves the event assignment as is.<\/li>\n<li><em>Replace<\/em> \u2013 Replaces the existing assignment in the designer with the control set\u2019s new event block.<\/li>\n<li><em>Append<\/em> \u2013 Leaves the event assignment as is, but also assigns the control set\u2019s event block via the script editor.
