Now we will discuss the other updates in the v4.1.72 build.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Improved Rename Refactoring<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; We greatly improved the Refactoring speed when renaming variables and parameters.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Refactoring now takes splatting into account when renaming function parameters and variables.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/RenameRefactoringandSplatting.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Rename Refactoring and Splatting\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/RenameRefactoringandSplatting_thumb.png\" alt=\"Rename Refactoring and Splatting\" width=\"244\" height=\"123\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Refactoring now takes Set-Variable and Clear-Variable cmdlets into account.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/RenameSetVariable.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Rename Set-Variable\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/RenameSetVariable_thumb.png\" alt=\"Rename Set-Variable\" width=\"244\" height=\"113\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Improved Reference Highlighting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To match the rename refactoring, our Reference Highlighting also takes into account the different ways variables and parameters are references:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/ReferenceHighlighting.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Reference Highlighting\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/ReferenceHighlighting_thumb.png\" alt=\"Reference Highlighting\" width=\"244\" height=\"207\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can trigger Reference Highlighting by double clicking on any object in the editor.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Block Comment Ribbon Button<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We added a Block Comment button to the Ribbon:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/BlockComment.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Block Comment\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/BlockComment_thumb.png\" alt=\"Block Comment\" width=\"244\" height=\"66\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Before you could only access the block comment using the following keyboard shortcut: (Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Q)<\/p>\n<p>When you select text, it will place a block comment around the selection:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Block Comment Selection\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/BlockCommentSelection.png\" alt=\"Block Comment Selection\" width=\"664\" height=\"68\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If there is no selection it will simply insert an empty block comment:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/BlockCommentnoSelection.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Block Comment no Selection\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/BlockCommentnoSelection_thumb.png\" alt=\"Block Comment no Selection\" width=\"298\" height=\"66\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The Enhanced Console Input will now try to determine the console&#8217;s current path in order to display the correct relative path when using the PrimalSense.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; You can now expand parameter aliases for functions using the context menu.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <em>Expand All Aliases<\/em> command now expands parameter aliases and partial parameter names.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Corrected <em>Expand All Aliases<\/em> and <em>Convert all Cmdlets to Aliases<\/em> keyboard shortcuts.<\/p>\n<table border=\"0\" width=\"400\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"2\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\" width=\"200\">Expand All Aliases<\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\" width=\"200\">Ctrl + Shift + A<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\" width=\"200\">Convert all Cmdlets to Aliases<\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\" width=\"200\">Ctrl + Shift + Alt + A<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the last PowerShell Studio article, we spoke about the updates to the Function Builder in the v4.1.72 service build.
