Particularly the <em>Home<\/em> tab of the Ribbon:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/SNAGHTML29c523.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"SNAGHTML29c523\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/SNAGHTML29c523_thumb.png\" alt=\"SNAGHTML29c523\" width=\"644\" height=\"72\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The most notable change is to the <em>Run<\/em> group. We changed the run and debug icons and rearranged the menu buttons:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image18.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"147\" height=\"100\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We separated out the remoting commands into their own menu:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image19.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"311\" height=\"145\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And we added two new options to the <em>Run<\/em> menu:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image20.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"300\" height=\"191\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can now access the run selection commands directly from the ribbon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We also updated the <em>Edit<\/em> group of the <em>Home<\/em> tab and added a functions menu:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image21.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"287\" height=\"151\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The new menu contains the following options:<\/p>\n<p><em>Insert New Function<\/em> \u2013 Opens the Function Builder so that you can create a new function.<\/p>\n<p><em>Edit Function<\/em> \u2013 Allows you to edit functions using the Function Builder. We will discuss this new feature in the next article.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Designer<\/em> tab also had a slight makeover:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/SNAGHTML342e51.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"SNAGHTML342e51\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/SNAGHTML342e51_thumb.png\" alt=\"SNAGHTML342e51\" width=\"644\" height=\"72\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The designer commands are now separated into their own groups and we changed a few buttons sizes.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully these UI changes will make some of the commands more discoverable and easier to access.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the latest build of PowerShell Studio 2014 (v4.1.71) we made some UI changes to the Ribbon.
