Not only does PrimalScript display word-wrapped, pop-up tooltips for PowerShell cmdlets, it also displays the complete cmdlet help in a new “Help” tab within the Output pane. This puts the product’s own documentation right at your fingertips, so there’s no need to open a new instance of the shell and run the help or man commands to find out what’s what.Note: Currently, the “Help” tab of the output pane will populate with help information only when you position your cursor over a cmdlet name and press F1. This is for performance reasons; PrimalScript actually queries the help information from PowerShell itself. After PowerShell releases and our users have had a chance to evaluate this new feature, we’ll look at the possibility of having the cmdlet help show up in the “Help” tab automatically.

Now showing on the PrimalScript 4.1 Preview Center is our newly-announced built-in dynamic help for Windows PowerShell!

[2,21

post-292","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-general","category-software-news
["GET
