So you will have access to cmdlet, alias, provider and about_help data for the core PowerShell 2.0 cmdlets as well as Exchange Management Shell and VMware PowerCLI cmdlets. Also included in this build is a direct connection to this blog, so you can always know what is happening at SAPIEN.

The expanded screen real estate available on the iPad makes this a very exciting platform for us to develop on. Version 2.1 takes advantage of this space to display large, easy-to-read detailed information for cmdlets, aliases, providers, about_help and SAPIEN Blog entries.

We also made lots of internal changes to iPowerShell to give us a solid base upon which we will be adding some very cool functionality in upcoming versions. We hope to keep in step with the “update Tuesday” schedule that we use for the rest of our product line and try to release a new build on the first Tuesday of the month. At the very least, expect to see additional libraries added and hopefully some new wicked-cool functionality in the coming months.

With the recent successful launch of iPowerShell v2 for iPhone and iPod touch, we have turned our attention to another platform, the Apple iPad.
