This program will extract module information into a file which can be accessed from the Cache Editor feature in PowerShell Studio and PrimalScript.\u00a0The file &#8220;<em>CacheExport2018.zip<\/em>&#8221; contains the cache export executable.<\/p>\n<p><a server where you are going to create the Export Cache file.\u00a0 The steps outlined below are my preferred method because I don&#8217;t have to copy over the executable or leave it on the server.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Use Shared Folder<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Create a shared folder locally.<\/li>\n<li>Copy &#8220;<em>CacheExport2018.zip<\/em>&#8221; to the shared folder and extract the files, which\u00a0will create the &#8220;<em>CacheExport2018<\/em>&#8221; folder containing the executable &#8220;<em>CacheExport.exe<\/em>&#8220;.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/SharedFolder_2018-09-07_14-33-39.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-16064\" proceed to connect to this shared folder from the remote system.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Connect to the Shared Folder from the Remote System<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Open a Remote Desktop session to the remote system.<\/li>\n<li>Use PowerShell or File Explorer to map a drive (x:) to the shared folder that contains the Cache Export executable.<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to the attached shared folder (e.g.,\u00a0\u00a0<em>x:\\CacheExport2018<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sapien.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/RPD_01_2018-09-07_15-29-21.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" File<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Run &#8220;<em>CacheExport.exe<\/em>&#8221; to build the cache file:\n<ul>\n<li>If using PowerShell Console, type the program name <em>CacheExport<\/em>\u00a0&lt;Tab&gt;, then press &lt;Enter&gt; to execute.<\/li>\n<li>If using File Explorer, just double-click on the file name &#8220;<em>CacheExport.exe<\/em>&#8220;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>In the Cache Export pop-up window, change the\u00a0<em>Export cache files to:<\/em> filepath to the shared folder.<\/li>\n<li>Select\u00a0<em>Rebuild All Cache Files<\/em> to build the export file.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a Modules<\/h4>\n<p>The &#8220;&lt;<em>servername&gt;.<\/em>CacheExport&#8221;\u00a0file has been created from the remote system. Now we can access the file from PowerShell Studio.
